Kasargod: Three members of family found dead in lodge

Kasargod, Feb 17: Three members of a family were found in dead on Saturday February 17 at Kanhangad.

The deceased are identified as Suryaprakash (55), his wife Geetha (48) and his mother Leela (90).

Suryaprakash, known for running a watch showroom in Kanhangad, along with his wife and elderly mother, were discovered lifeless in a lodge at Avikkere near the railway station.

Local authorities from the Hosadurga police department swiftly responded to the scene. Notably, Suryaprakash's son Ajay was away in Ernakulam for work at the time of the incident. The couple's two daughters are married, leaving only the three victims at home.

The investigation is currently underway by the Hosadurga police.

    @Rita; in another news source,it has been clearly mentioned that the man was having a financial failure; he was running a watch repair shop near the railway station, and you can imagine the viability of such a profession in these times of high technology; many such old professionals do not have any work nowadays! BTW, in the future too many jobs which are repetitive will go into oblivion!

    Rudolf R:Mumbai,I understand.But why he and his wife with mother should go to lodge and suicide?Unusual.When the business doesnt go as expected ,can give off .Need not suicide.Even he could try some other job or work in other jewellary shop?OR too proud?Dont understand.RIPto all
