Kadaba: Conductor takes college student to police station over photocopy of bus pass

Daijiworld Media Network – Kadaba (MS)

Kadaba, Jan 25: A bus conductor compelled a college student to report to the police station after the student presented a photocopy of his bus pass instead of the original. The incident occurred on Wednesday in Kadaba.

The bus, en route from Kallugudde in Kadaba to Puttur via Shantimogaru, became the scene of the incident. Ravi Ganesh, the first-year PU student from Kadaba Government PU College, boarded the bus at Peradka. When asked for his bus pass, he provided a photocopy, leading the conductor to claim that possessing a photocopy is against the law. The conductor confiscated the college student's identity card and directed him to the Kadaba police station.

Despite Ravi Ganesh's plea that he had practical exams and was running late, the conductor remained firm, physically taking him to the police station, as witnessed by Ravi Ganesh's classmates at the scene. Onlookers also expressed their dissatisfaction with the conductor's actions. After Ravi Ganesh's father contacted the police and explained that his son had an ongoing examination, the student was allowed to retrieve his identity card and attend the exam.

Ravi Ganesh explained that he had lost his original bus pass some months ago and, as a precaution, had made a colour photocopy for use in emergencies.

Conductor is right …. State and. Central Government employees are trained well, Photocopies can be altered… as in date of issue, date of expiry, name, profession etc. Those supporting the student are frauds who have no scruples whatsoever…. High time we INDIANS begin the so called RAMRaj following rules in place, otherwise we will still remain in Ram Raj while other countries move ahead … just remember of there was a surprise raid by the Conductors superiors , he would have lost his job and his family would have been in dire straits, student who thought he’d get away with photocopies of his bus pass would be capable of forgery in exams , that his parents came to his rescue shows how fraud deceit and curruption are ingrained in us..

The boys parents should file charges against the conductor under IPC Section 211- The conductor knew that the student had exams going on. He intentionally forced him to go to the police station and wrongfully detained him with the malicious intent of him losing his marks. Btw, k b r. You obviously have no humane feeling. A young person is being traumatized for a very stupid reason. His exams are going on and a BS conductor drags him to the cops because he had a photocopy of his pass...you act all rigeous about a photocopy being unreliable. What PoppyCock. The world is going Mad!
