Udupi: Home nurse arrested for theft from employer's vehicle

Udupi, Dec 8: The city police apprehended an individual who stole money from the dashboard of the vehicle at the residence where he was employed as a home nurse.

On December 5, Santhosh of Puttur village, Udupi, hired Praveen Kumar Jalappa Haradolla (34) as a home nurse through Mata Solution Home Nurse agency. However, Praveen was not present at the residence from 6:30 PM to 09:00 PM on December 4, and when Santhosh inquired about Praveen's whereabouts, he discovered that he did not return home. A complaint was filed at the Udupi city police station, alleging that Praveen had stolen Rs 3,45,000 from the dashboard of the Bolero vehicle parked at the residence.

A special team, led by Inspector Manjappa D R and comprising PSI Puneeth Kumar B E, Eranna Shiragumpi, Bharatesh Kankanwadi, and ASI Vijay, along with personnel Satish, Netravati, Kiran, Anand, Oblesh, and Shivakumar, arrested Praveen Kumar Jalappa Haradolli of Hunagunda Taluk in Bagalkot on December 7. The police have successfully recovered Rs 3,13,500 of the stolen amount.

    He is a shame to nursing profession .One has forgotten its meaning .Why he could ask him for a loan if required .Probably he must have chosen this profession to make money but not to help the needy. Noone should employ him in future as Private nurse.Dedication to the profession is important in the first place than only longing for money.
