Mangaluru, Dec 6: Former BJP MLA C T Ravi on Wednesday December 6, termed the Congress as the real communal party.

Speaking to media at the BJP office on Wednesday December 6 over chief minister Siddaramaiah’s statement of increasing grants to Muslim community and giving special rights to the minorities in national resources, Ravi said, “The statement shows a dangerous mentality which will lead to the division of the country and a communal thinking. The statement is nothing but appeasement for votes. The Congress is nothing but a real communal party.”

Over former minister and senior BJP leader V Somanna leaving the BJP party, Ravi said, “Why a leader has to leave a party? Leaders not only join the BJP for politics but also for its ideologies. We will not let Somanna leave our party.”

Ravi also said, “Our aim is to see that the BJP grabs all 28 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Congress itself does not believe that their government will survive after the Lok Sabha elections next year.”
