Film has considerably expanded its canvas compared to its predecessor: ‘Warning 2’ Director


Mumbai, Dec 1 (IANS): Director Amar Hundal, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming Punjabi film ‘Warning 2’, has shared that he has expanded the canvas of the film compared to its first part.

The action flick which is a sequel to the 2021 superhit 'Warning’ and also stars Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Jasmin Bhasin, Rahul Dev, and Raghveer Boli in major roles.

The film, which features Punjabi superstar Gippy Grewal got its teaser released in theatres of Delhi and Punjab on Friday

The teaser, which is exclusive to the theatres in Punjab and Delhi, offers a glimpse of the power-packed cast headlined by superstar Gippy Grewal.

Talking about the film, Amar Hundal said: “We believe that the teaser will provide a perfect glimpse into the world of 'Warning 2'. Compared to the previous instalment, this time we have expanded the canvas significantly and hope that the film will revive the trend of hardcore masala action movies in Punjabi cinema.”

Gippy Grewal, who is also the producer and writer of the film, shared that the team has made an earnest endeavour to stay true to the legacy of the franchise.

He said: "We are aware of the expectations especially after the massive success of the first installment of the movie. We hope the teaser will be appreciated by the audiences and will make them look forward to the release of ‘Warning 2’.”

Humble Motion Pictures & Saregama presents a Yoodlee Film, ‘Warning 2’ is produced by Gippy Grewal and Siddharth Anand Kumar.

The film is set to release in theatres on February 2, 2024.
