Farmer’s son clears IIT-JEE at 13, becomes youngest IITian

Bihar, Nov 22: Satyam Kumar created history when he cracked the toughest Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) at the young age of 13.

At the age of 12, Satyam scored AIR 8137 in IIT-JEE in 2012. He rejected the result and took the examination again in 2013 to get an astounding AIR 670. By doing so, Satyam became the youngest to crack IIT-JEE examinations. Earlier, the record was held by Sahal Kaushik of Delhi who cleared the same at the age of 14.

Satyam completed dual degree of Btech and Mtech in electrical engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2018. He also joined university of Texas in Austin to pursue PhD at the age of 24. He is working for Apple as a machine learning intern at present.

Satyam’s story is inspiration one for the fact that he hailed from a farmer’s family from Bhojpur area of Bihar. Sheer dedication and devotion took him all the way to USA from his remote village.

    Congratulations !! But what is the use ? so much talent has left the country to serve another country which actually does not require his talent but is rich enough to pay him whatever he wants...shame on our country...we are just exporting talent.
