Kasargod: Scooter-jeep collision claims life of school boy

Kasargod, Nov 5: A tragic accident occurred on Saturday night in Paivalaki, resulting in the loss of a young life. The victim, identified as Ifraz, was the son of Ibrahim Moidin from Lalbagh in Paiwalike and a tenth-grade student at Uppal Tahani English Medium School.

The incident transpired near his residence at approximately 11 pm when Ifraz was traveling on a scooter with another individual, heading to the mosque.

The accident unfolded when a jeep suddenly braked at a road turn, causing the scooter to collide with it. The impact of the collision threw Ifraz onto the road, causing severe injuries. He was promptly transported to a hospital, but despite medical efforts, his life could not be saved.

Ifraz's body has been placed in the Mangalpadi Government Hospital mortuary, awaiting post-mortem examination and will subsequently be handed over to his family.

Manjeshwar police have registered a case related to the accident.

    Oh God so sad such a young life lost I request all parents to be careful with children when they ride 2 wheelers 2 Wheelers can be dangerous and can cause fatal accidents, I request all youngsters to drive very slowly.
