Nice to see the rainy water because here in Abu Dhabi,UAE we can not see along back and it reminds my olden days when I am in mumbai while going to work, I also walked from Santa Cruz to Andheri west under the water upto neck-level. Be happy you are in India and it will show (Rain Water) for few days.

Good one Nagesh Nayak. When we think about national unity (if you have that sentiment) you are also ruled by Congress and you cannot do anything about it & that's why you redirect your anger on some one else. Indian has developed just because of Portugese, dutch French & English and for some extent by Italian too. Now go and try to dig underneath any old temple in your surroundings. you will either get gold or mass graves. Jai Khal Nayak...!!!!

Sounds annoying but please take it positively. The rain and flood is the only option to clean the city every year. The flooding will clean the city and wash out all the germs and bacteria which can cause further damage to the Mumbai population. The people in the slums always raise voices during monsoon.Though they do not pay any taxes but enjoy ample water supply and electricity because a small portion of people pay taxes in crores. The slums never change to buildings because the slums are 10 x 15 into 2 floors makes 300 sq.ft.If they change it into buildings they get 220 sq.ft which is not acceptable.Who will pay the maintainance fees if the slums converted into flats. There for Mumbai remain Mumbai with same ambience on the roads and train tracks.
