Mangaluru, Jun 23: Tulu movie ‘Circus’ directed by Roopesh Shetty released in theatres on Friday June 23.
Circus is the second directorial of Roopesh, the winner of Bigg Boss Kannada OTT Season 1, and Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9. Roopesh had earlier directed Tulu blockbuster ‘Girgit’.
The movie released in Mangaluru, Puttur, Moodbidiri, Kundapura, Koppa, Kasargod, Sullia, Beltangady, Manipal, Udupi, Surathkal, Padubidri, Karkala, Mulleria, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Qatar and Muscat.
The makers of the movie carried out a grand procession on the eve of its release from Nehru Maidan to Big Cinemas.
As many as 51 premiere shows of the movie have been screened across the globe. The movie has garnered positive response throughout.
The movie has been premiered in theatres in Pune, Manipal and global theatres of Dubai, UAE, Australia, USA, Canada, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Qatar and Bahrain. The movie will be premiered in UK, Thailand, Nigeria, Kuwait, Puttur, Mumbai and Al-Ain (UAE) in the coming days.
The movie will be released in Sydney and Bengaluru on June 30.
‘Circus’ is produced by Shoolin Films, Manjunath Attavar, and Mugrody Films. In addition to directing, Roopesh is also playing the lead alongside Rachana Rai, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Naveen D Padil, Sai Krishna, Umesh Mijar, Prasanna Shetty Bailur, Sandeep Shetty, and Kannada film actor Yash Shetty.
Loy Valentine Saldanha has composed the music and Prasanna Shetty Bailur, who gained fame for his work in 'Girgit' has penned the dialogues. Naveen Shetty is the choreographer, Niranjan Das has captured the movie and Rahul Vashishta is the editor.
The dubbing, mixing, and mastering of the movie have been handled at Daijiworld Audio Visual Pvt Ltd.
Roopesh, Rachana Rai, Prasanna Shetty, Bojraj Vamanjoor, Devadas Kapikad, Arjun Kapikad, Anoop Sagar, VG Pal, Thamma Laxmana, Prakash Thuminad, managing director Daijiworld media Walter Nandalike, music director Loy Valentine Saldanha, editor Rahul Vashishta and others were present during the grand release event.
