Kundapur, Jun 5: A car overturned due to the first rain that showered early in the morning on Monday June 5 at Jalady on national highway 66 as the driver lost control of the vehicle. However, the passengers escaped miraculously.

The Mahindra Quanto vehicle was going from Sigandur to Brahmavar. As it reached Jalady, the driver lost control and the vehicle crashed against the divider of the national highway and overturned. The car hit another RediGo car that was coming on the other side. Both vehicles got damaged.

A father-daughter duo was travelling in the Mahindra vehicle and they were going to SMS School Brahmavar. There is a deep gorge by the side of the highway but providence saved both.

Kundapur traffic police arrived on the spot and have registered a case.

Thank God noone is injured. One should drive depending on the weather and when a car is small one need not think you are on the high way.Drive carefully thinking you want to reach home ,not elsewhere.Have the responsibility of your family too.

Unscientific construction of the highway and bad driving main reasons for such incidents on this highway. May God protect us all.
