Our city Mangalore needs better infrastructure such as wide tree-lined roads, better highway connectivity, better water management with spacious dams and better railway and airport infrastructure. We need more multinational software companies and research companies to setup their offices here in Mangalore. We Mangalorians don't want to depend on other cities for our employment. Since Mangalore is the only city in Karnataka to have both an International airport and major seaport, Karnataka must give top importance to Mangalore in terms of software company investments and other major research company investments.
