Thomas, I agree with your comments; if I am not mistaken cowdung is the primary manure used, and it's a backbreaking and human intensive job! While respecting the report, I would think that 60k is the turnover and not the real net profit!!

Rudolf, as against turnover or revenue, the meaning of earning is after deducting all direct and indirect expenses. However, I also feel the same like you that Rs 60000 may be turnover.

They are taking it as an hobby. This is only a second income. The lady is a lawyer and is continuing her profession. So cool not to worry.

Rudy sir....cow dung yes. But, now cow rearing is lessened. I heard from the mouth of the people that they collect their urine and pour to the plants. Those who get cow dung here and there ...its mixed up with the human urine and they say it is a good manure. Plants grow healthy with green leaves and yield good flowers. Many even put for their basale/thonde (gherkin) creepers/brinjal and house grown vegetables....Those flowers have highest rate, decorated on brides head/offered to god/used in every function...😁😁

To earn 2k per day... 1. How many people involved in the plucking of flowers, tying of flowers and the time involved? 2. Who takes care of the preparation of thread (banana bar veins) used in the tying? 3. What time do they wake up to tie the flowers? 4. What about fertilizer and pest control
