Mangaluru: AJ Institute of Dental Sciences holds 16th Graduation ceremony

Mangaluru, Dec 9: The 16th Graduation ceremony of AJ Institute of Dental Sciences was held on December 7 at AJ campus. A total number of 103 under graduates and 21 post graduates were graduated on this occasion.

The celebration was graced by esteemed chief guest Dr B L Sujatha Rathod (director-Directorate of Medical Education, Bengaluru). In her convocation address she congratulated the management, principal and faculty for completing 20 years in academic excellence and also called on the graduates to build the trust of the patient by practicing sympathy, empathy and following ethics.

Professor (Dr) US Krishna Nayak (principal And dean AB Shetty Memorial institute of dental sciences, NITTE University (Deemed To Be)) was the guest of honour. Dr A J Shetty (president LMET) presided over the function and Prashanth Shetty (vice president, LMET) graced the occasion.

Dr SreeKrishna K received the gold medal as the best outgoing undergraduate and Dr Roshni R S received the gold medal as the best outgoing postgraduate. Dr K Nillan Shetty (principal, AJ Institute of Dental Sciences) welcomed the gathering and Dr Ashwini Colaco compèred the event. Dr Melba Dsouza delivered the vote of thanks.
