Later, D V Sadananda Gowda, who was a minister, had approved the project.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel had done the correspondence in order to implement the project fast. Eight years have passed by to get the various processes approved by the government.

Did you import junk plastic to get this done ? 104 acre. You dont have a proper waste disposal unit. Look at vamanjoor Benki Kateel. Hear the plight of people there. Use some common sense and work for a greener Mangalore than bringing in all this dirty things in the environment.

Why one more industry to cause environmental hazards in the district? Perhaps no other state wanted this. This will result in air pollution and water pollution in unimaginable proportion as the plastic refuse of the country will land in Mangalore for recycling. One more prized projects bestowed on us after Yettinahole and Nandikoor which will hasten the decay of Mangalore.
