Mumbai: Konkan Association Charitable Trust holds talents competitions

Mumbai, Nov 28: Konkan Association Charitable Trust held talent competitions at St Jude Church Auditorium, Kurla west in the cooperation of Konkani Sabha Mulund on November 27. Fr Nelson Saldanha, parish priest of St Thomas Church, Malad east inaugurated the programme.

The programme was held under the leadership of Leo Fernandes, president of Konkan Association Charitable Trust and Konkani Sabha Mulund. Sr Seema Thomas, musician Lawrence Saldanha, Kenny Zuzarth, Jerry D’ Souza Bondel, Peter P Rebeiro, Prithesh Castelino, Stephan Lobo, Pascal Lobo, Gilbert Furtado and Fidelis Fernandes were on the dais as guests of honour.

The organizations had arranged several competitions in singing and dancing.

Konkani Sabha executive committee members Henry D’ Souza, Pascal Fernandes, Florine D’ Mello, Julia Chen, Simon Gomes, Benedicata D’ Souza, Ruzai Fernandes, Melwin Fernandes, Konkan Charitable trust members Benedicata B Rebello, Dr Joy D’ Souza, Gregory Monis and Pedru Fernandes were present.

Peter Lobo welcomed. Reginald Santumayor, Silvia Fernandes, Flora D’ Souza Kalmadi and Florine D’ Mello who cooperated in the programme were honoured. Leo Fernandes Jerimeri compered the programme. Stephan Lobo rendered a vote of thanks.

    Hats off to Konkan Association Charitable Trust and Konkani Sabha Mulund systematically organizing this Talent Competition. Enjoyed participating with my Jerimeri Group in Dancing & Singing also got the prizes. A big thank you to our Jerimerian Leo Fernandes & his team. Wishing these Associations many more success in the years to come.
