Mangaluru: Navarang 2022 intercollegiate fest held at Milagres College

Mangaluru, Nov 22: Navrang 2022 – ‘Where ideas come to life,' an intercollegiate fest for PUC students was organized by the Department of Hotel Management of Milagres College, Mangaluru on Tuesday, November 22.

The programme began with a prayer song by the college choir. Fr Michael Santhumayor, principal of Milagres College, welcomed the gathering. The event was inaugurated by chief Guest Ivan D’Souza, proprietor, Aaron Caterers, Mangaluru.

Guest of honour Hilda Rodrigues, secretary of Milagres Church Parish Council, president Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, correspondent of Milagres Educational Institutions, staff and student representatives were present on the dais.

Vineetha Mendonca, faculty of Hotel Management of Milagres College proposed a vote of thanks. Reshal Santhis compered the programme.

Events like Rangoli, collage, T-shirt painting, Mask Art, photography, cooking without fire, pencil sketching, art out of waste and face painting were conducted. In all, 22 teams from different colleges participated in this fest.

The valedictory program was held at 2 PM where the results were announced and the prizes were distributed.

First prize was bagged by Creative Pu College, Karkala and the second prize was won by Vijaya College, Mulki.
