Nov 22: Dakshina Kannada reports zero cases, Udupi adds one infection

Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 22: Dakshina Kannada reported zero cases and Udupi added one coronavirus case on Tuesday, November 22.

The total number of positive cases in the Dakshina Kannada district stands at 1,37,181 out of which three are currently active. Four patients were discharged on November 22.

No deaths were reported on November 22. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,861.

The district administration has urged people to strictly continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authorities.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.

Udupi

One coronavirus case was reported on November 22. The total active Covid cases are three.

A total of 10,90,856 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,86,718 have received both doses and 2,99,374 people have received booster doses.

Udupi reported one case while Kundapur and Karkala added zero infections.
