Mangaluru: Bajrang Dal members attack youth of another faith, taken into custody

Mangaluru, Oct 22: Bajrang Dal (BD) members attacked people belonging to another community in a communally-sensitive region here.

The reason cited for the attack is the creation of a fake Aadhar card by the youth and for projecting himself as a Hindu to lure a Chikkamagaluru-based Hindu girl before attempting to escape to Bengaluru.

As soon as the Bajrang Dal members got wind of this information, they pulled out the youth from a bus in Naguri and dragged him before beating him up.

It is learnt that the youth resides close to B C Road.

The Kankanady police have already taken into custody four Bajrang Dal members and are investigating.

    We have a common enemy.Wrong Adhar card with fake name should be not supported,but taking law in own hand should be not supported.Who are they to attack youth and pull out of bus and attack him?Who gave them the right?Police will lookafter the law ,but not BD.They should be too pulled out of their hide and punish them (whether Polce have guts)?

    Well, now you guys have come to know that Aadhar card is issued to wrong applicants. One case detected because it involves a girl of your community. What are you doing about it ? Gherao the offices young men, before more cases take place. Do something for the society, not only religion.

    How people belief any story cooked up by BD on face value?.After Poonja incident in Paniyoor incident also first they said it was accident then said there is incident of chain snatching and finally registed case as molestation.What Bajrang Dal say that is chargesheet in Mangalore.

    Though I do not support BD, but such moves has to be appreciated. Luring girls with fake aadhar cards is not acceptable .Just imagine if it was our daughters and sisters or family members. As said before, we cannot keep support acts despite having a common enemy. It may soon boomerang on us.

    It’s high time to empower concerned authorities to conduct random checks for verification of identification documents. Those authorised to flush out illegal immigrants should also be given powers to check the veracity of identity and ration cards. Otherwise there is possibility of the so called NRC becoming a farce.

    Eventually police have taken into custody 4 BD members who were doing great service to the society but not the person who allegedly created fake Aadhar card. Now even police have realized fake cases fabricated every time by these fringe anti-social elements.
