Mangaluru: Healthy Heart Club launched at Indiana Hospital

Mangaluru, Sep 29:  Indiana Hospital launched Healthy Heart Club at its auditorium here on Thursday, September 29. 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Yusuf A Kumble said, “awareness of cardiovascular diseases is very essential. Cardiac diseases are the main killer of the world. In the world, 18 million people are dying because of heart disease. It can be prevented through early diagnosis. Change in lifestyle modification is the cause of such diseases". 

He also called upon people to engage in exercise at least for an hour a day.

Consultant and HOD Professor (Paediatrics) Dr Ali Kumble and Dr Vijayachandra Nair were present on the occasion.
