Dubai: Feast of Nativity Celebrated by Karaval Milan

Dubai, Sep 29: The members of Karaval Milan association gathered to celebrate the Feast of Nativity at Naveen Sequira’s residence, here, recently.

Karaval Milan vice- president Clarence Fernandes, Thottam welcomed the gathering. Secretary Pius James D’Souza led the prayer service. All the children entered in procession to offer flowers to Mother Mary. Traditional hymns like ‘Sakka Sangatha Melyan’ and ‘Moriyek Hogolsiyan’ were sung by the gathering.


Exciting games were conducted by Stany D’Cunha for children and elders. Prizes were distributed to the winners. Visiting elders Alice Sequeira and  Severine Almeida  were honored on the occasion. Newly wedded couple Mr and Mrs Prakash Rebello were congratulated and wished all the happiness in future.

Mind blowing music by new sensation in Konkani Music Goldina D’Souza engaged the audience who were dancing under the guidance of veteran Rony Nazareth Byndoor. Melodious songs were sung by Rony Byndoor, Glen Mendonca and Gretta D’Souza to the tune of Goldina D’Souza. Multi-talented member, Lawrence sung many wonderful Hindi songs and also performed a attractive mimicry.

Authentic and traditional food was served which was prepared by Karaval Milan members. Treasurer Ronald Nazareth Byndoor proposed the vote of thanks. Pius James D Souza compered the entire programme.
