Mangaluru/Udupi, Jan 30: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 28 fresh coronavirus cases Saturday raising the tally to 33,755. Out of these, 289 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,23,719 samples have been tested out of which 5,20,344 are negative.
As many as 17 people were discharged on Saturday. A total of 739 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 28,796 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 30,02,710 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,319, including 13 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 43 cases are currently active.
Over 3,34,240 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,10,921 have turned out negative.
As many as 3 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far
