Mangaluru/ Udupi, Jan 29: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 26 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday raising the tally to 33,727. Out of these, 278 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,22,102 samples have been tested. Out of which 4,88,375 are negative.
As many as 29 people were discharged on Friday. A total of 739 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 28,528 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 29,77,210 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,306, including 5 fresh cases on Friday. Out of these, 33 cases are currently active.
Over 3,33,119 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,09,813 have turned out negative.
As many as 18 patients were discharged on Friday. A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far.
