Mangaluru/Udupi, Jan 21: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 39 fresh coronavirus cases on Thursday raising the tally to 33,518. Out of these, 269 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,04,438 samples have been tested. Out of which 4,70,920 are negative.
As many as 12 people were discharged on Thursday. A total of 737 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 26,325 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 27,62,050 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,241, including 7 fresh cases on Thursday. Out of these, 27 cases are currently active.
Over 3,26,023 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,02,782 have turned out negative.
As many as 10 patients were discharged on Thursday. A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far.
