Mangaluru, Jan 20: Elements which perhaps find satisfaction out of fuelling the feeling of others, placed condoms into the donation box pertaining to Koragajja and Guligajjana Katte in Ullal bus stand. They also defaced the pictures of chief minister B S Yediyurappa and his son Vijayendra and defaced them. They also wrote some contemptuous matter on the said pictures.
The Koragajja Seva Samithi, Ullal, has been following the practice of removing the contents of the donation box on Sankranthi day of each month. This time however, there was a few days delay. They opened the donation box on the evening of Tuesday January 19 and found condoms and a flex with inflammatory writing.
The flex pertains to extending greetings and best wishes to M Rudresh on his appointment as the chairman of KRIDL Bengaluru. The pictures of Yediyurappa, Vijayendra, Amit Shah, Nalin Kumar Kateel and others have been distorted by scratching on them.
A complaint in this connection has been filed in Ullal police station, urging the police to arrest the accused. It may be recalled that condoms and derogatory writings were also recently found in the donation boxes of Babbuswamy at Kottara here and at Koragajjana Katte at Babugudde, Attavar.
Mass prayers were held at Guligajjana Katte on Wednesday January 20, where the devotees prayed for the punishing of the miscreants.
