Mangaluru/Udupi, Jan 19: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin, the district reported 25 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday raising the tally to 33,463. Out of these, 268 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,98,732 samples have been tested, out of which 4,65,769 are negative.
As many as 40 people were discharged on Tuesday, A total of 737 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 25,507 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 26,82,190 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,227, including 4 fresh cases on Tuesday. Out of these, 27 cases are currently active.
Over 3,24,053 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,00,826 have turned out negative.
As many as 3 patients were discharged on Tuesday. A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far
