I don’t understand why such a big crowd should gather around when you are giving vaccination. People are watching the vaccination as if some magic show is going on there .

in overseas countries mainly europe, usa and gulf, the premiers of that country have taken vaccination shots.

In india hapless ward sanitation workers are given first. This clearly shows that the administration is not sure of the vaccine and does not want to take risk

The photograph of Yediyurappa assuring the woman sanitation worker who took the vaccination first in Karnataka clearly says that the worker was not willing to take but is being given forcefully.

    Abdul Munim,
I agree with u. Government has clearly said politicians will not be considered priority groups in the first phase of the rollout.
Our leaders should have taken the first shot like other world leaders, by this they could have gain the confidence of public to take the vaccination.

    Sanjay,
Our leaders itself have a doubt about vaccine, otherwise they definitely would have taken the first shot.
Also please note, vaccine in India is still in phase 3 human trials and a full datasets on its efficacy has not been released or peer-reviewed, unlike the other vaccines which are used in other countries has already cleared phase-3.

Don't spread rumours Abdul. Boris Johnson, the PM of UK, took the vaccine in 4th week. Not because he was scared but because he followed the guidelines laid down by the UK health authorities, who have prioritised people aged >80 years, care home (Vraddhashrama) residents and care workers, hospitals workers and in that order. Me, as a healthcare workers received my vaccine before PM in 3rd week.
In India, ICMR has also released the priority list with front line healthcare workers and keyworkers prioritised over others.
