Mangaluru/Udupi, Jan 15: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 37 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday raising the tally to 33,374. Out of these, 417 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,40,684 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,07,310 are negative.
As many as 43 people were discharged on Friday, A total of 732 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 23,569 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 24,90,745 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,213, including eight fresh cases on Friday. Out of these, 41 cases are currently active.
Over 3,19,755 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,96,542 have turned out negative.
As many as 19 patients were discharged on Friday. A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far.
