Puttur: Heated arguments between SDPI, Congress activists leads to assault

Puttur, Jan 11: Congress and SDPI activists while conducting political canvassing at Golikatte entered into a war of words which eventually resulted in assaults. A youth Congress activist and Golikatte resident Mohammed Ali (31) was injured in the incident.

Ali has been admitted to the Puttur government hospital.

Pallathadka residents Siraj, Munir, Naufal and Sharif have been accused of assaulting the Congress activist Mohammed Ali.

    Like small children ,not like adults or Politicians.Afterall our other politicians also are famous in such actions in Parlament during their sessions,throwing chairs to another during heated argument.So these too followed it.Can we call them educated adults or politicians ?shame on you .

    SDPI and Congress are helping bjp indirectly. BJP has poared ghee in the fight between these 2 political parties and watching silently. I did not understand why are they fighting which will give benefit to bjp only.

    Regional political parties are taking advantage of the week Congress party. It is very sad that Congress is suffering from leadership crisis. We need a strong national opposition party in the interest of nation.
