Mangaluru/Udupi, Jan 9: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin, the district reported 37 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 33,216. Out of these, 458 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,22,147 samples have been tested, out of which 4,88,931 are negative.
As many as 28 people were discharged on Saturday, A total of 732 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 21,805 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 23,13,830 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,189, including 20 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 102 cases are currently active.
Over 3,10,319 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,87,130 have turned out negative.
As many as 12 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far
