Mangaluru/Udupi, Jan 5: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 44 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday raising the tally to 33,038. Out of these, 375 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,02,190 samples have been tested. Out of which 4,69,152 are negative.
As many as 36 people were discharged on Tuesday. A total of 732 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 20,325 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 21,59,399 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,139, including 26 fresh cases on Tuesday. Out of these, 109 cases are currently active.
Over 2,97,147 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,74,008 have turned out negative.
As many as 7 patients were discharged on Tuesday. A total of 189 deaths have occurred so far
