The Award Mafia is back ..By me ,to me ..
While awards are good for recognition and are given to inspire to do better work going forward ..
While as a citizen its easy to criticize ..but there are some fundamental flaws in the standards that we have set for ourselves ..
    1. Lack of vision, Goal setting, Innovation,
2.Non Functional govt officers. They just want a govt job ..Do not understand their responsibilities ..they clearly lack motivation and discipline. Always interested in taking bribe even for menial and routine jobs like putting a seal ,which even a kid can do if trained.
There is a serious Gap between citizens aspiration and basic requirements and what the govt is providing ..This gap analysed and filled. The govt should map the requirements vs the cost and ask for tax with the citizens . If it does not know what is the cost of its services ..then its taking tax only for its corruption ecosystem. It should be able to show its expenses in its annual budget
