Mangaluru, Oct 22: In an explosive twist to the murder case of rowdy-sheeter and Tulu cine actor Surendra Bantwal, a man has confessed to the police in a voice message that he had killed Surendra as revenge to the murder of Kishan Hegde, who was hacked to death recently at Hiriadka in Udupi.
Sathish Kulal is the person who has claimed to have killed Surendra. In fact, Sathish is an accomplice of the deceased Surendra.
In his confession, on the voice message, Sathish says, "I was with slain Surendra for the past 22 years and know all his activities and business. I had forbidden Surendra from financially aiding the murder of Kishan Hegde. But he threatened me that he will kill me. So I murdered him along with one of Kishan Hegde's friend. We will surrender before the police in two days."
