Oct 14: Dakshina Kannada records 292 new corona cases, Udupi 179; seven deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru/Udupi, Oct 14: Dakshina Kannada reported 292 fresh coronavirus cases and five deaths on Wednesday.

As per the district health bulletin, a total of 27,438 positive cases have been reported till date, out of which 4,110 are currently active. A total of 2,09,218 samples have been tested, out of which 1,81,780 are negative.

As many as 22,923 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital, including 499 on Wednesday. A total of 617 deaths have occured so far, including five on Wednesday.

Udupi

As per the district health bulletin, Udupi reported 179 fresh coronavirus cases and two deaths on Wednesday.

As per the district health bulletin, a total of 20,078 positive cases have been reported till date, out of which 2,026 are currently active. A total of 1,49,676 samples have been tested, out of which 1,29,598 are negative.

As many as 17,901 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital, including 163 on Wednesday. A total of 170 deaths have occured so far, including two on Wednesday.
