Sep 28: 217 fresh corona cases, 7 deaths in DK; Udupi records 332 new infections

Mangaluru/Udupi, Sep 28: Dakshina Kannada reported 217 new coronavirus cases and seven deaths on Monday.

Over 190 people were discharged on Monday taking the total discharges in the district to 16,270.

As many as 22,344 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 217 on Monday, and 5,557 cases are currently active.

As per the state bulletin, 515 deaths have occurred till date in the district.

Udupi

As per the state health bulletin, Udupi reported 332 fresh coronavirus cases and zero deaths on Monday.

Over 195 people were discharged on Monday taking the total discharges in the district to 14,712.

As many as 16,686 confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported so far in the district, including 332 on Monday and 1,830 cases are currently active. As per the state bulletin, 144 deaths have occurred so far in the district.

    High rate of testing in DK And udupi is revealing the numbers ..DK and udupi can still reduce the numbers
    was wondering case load of districts such as kalaburgi and Bidar etc being so low.
