Mangaluru: Aged lady dies after falling into Gujjarakere lake

Mangaluru, Sep 26: The mortal remains of Kalyani (75), residing at Mission Compound, Mangaladevi here, were found from Gujjarakere lake near her home on Thursday September 24.

Kalyani, who was suffering from certain health problems, had gone to bed after having dinner with other family members. She would have either slipped and fallen into the lake or would also have committed suicide, her family members told the police.

A case of unnatural death was registered at Pandeshwar police station. The deceased is survived by three sons and two daughters.
