Udupi, Apr 25: In an important publication, the medical superintendent of Kasturba Hospital Manipal has urged public to donate blood as blood donation camps are not held due to the implementation of election code of conduct.

This has caused to postpone emergency surgeries of certain diseases and accident cases at the hospital.

He requested people to donate blood and save lives.

“Your contribution will make significant difference. Please donate blood and help us to serve our community in times of emergency. Blood can be donated between 7 am to 7 pm. For more information contact 0820-2923191,” said the publication.
