Bengaluru riots: Congress fact-finding committee blames cops, intelligence failure

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Sep 25: The Congress fact-finding committee headed by former deputy chief minister, Dr G Parameshwar, has concluded that police failure resulted in the riots at DJ Halli and KG Halli.

The report prepared by the committee has been handed over to the leader of the opposition, Siddaramaiah, and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president, D K Shivakumar.

The committee said that the disturbances happened on a large scale and the police system failed to control it immediately. "The police were left watching the proceedings helplessly. Intelligence failure also is another reason. Therefore, serious action should be taken in this connection," the report has mentioned.

The report is said to have opined that the police should have taken precautionary measures in places like DJ Halli, a sensitive area.

"The minority is unhappy after the anti Citizesnhip Amendment Act and National Register of Citizens protest. Therefore, these things should have bee handled carefully. But this was not done. The BJP instead, is tryng to reap benefit out of this incident," the committee is said to have commented.

The report also mentions about internal politics within the Congress. It opines that MLA, Akhanda Srinivasa Murthy who came from, the JD(S), failed to take the corporators from within his constituency into confidence. Former mayor, Sampath Raj, has been involved with the party's organisational matters in C V Raman Nagar, but Akhanda seems to have apprehension about Sampath Raj's activities. Akhanda gave rise to confusion unnecessarily and the committee is said to have opined, and recommended that he should be properly educated in the party forums.

This is because of petty third grade moron POLITICIANS who wanted establish themselves in the NEXT elections playing minority card.

The riots witnessed huge loss and damage of reputation of BANGALORE CITY as a whole on INTERNATIONAL LEVEL platform.

Zameer type kakabuka politicians should not elected as the people representative. they are only for themselves and even they promotes rowdy sheeters for their personal gains. Congress is on base grounds is not a DOODH PEETHA BACCHA PARTY
