Bengaluru: Bhoomi Puja held for Dr Vishnuvardhan Memorial Building construction

Bengaluru, Sep 15: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa participated in the Bhoomi Puja programme through online for the construction of the Dr Vishnuvardhan Memorial Building project in Bengaluru on Tuesday.

Deputy Chief Minister Govind M Karjol, Cooperation Minister S T Somashekar, Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar and Information and Public Relations Department Commissioner Dr PS Harsha attended the programme.

Ambulance and PPE kits were donated to the Chief Minister earlier on behalf of Zee Kannada and Zee Pictures.

Deputy Chief Minister Govind M Karjol, Revenue Minister R Ashok, Cooperation Minister S T Somashekar, Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar, Health and Family Welfare Services Minister B Sriramulu, State Childrens’ Rights Protection Commission chairperson Tara Anuradha and Business Head of Zee Group Raghavendra Hunsur were present.

Karnataka’s Bio Diversity Board Chairman Ananth HegdeAshishar and a delegation on the State’s bio-diversity called on the Chief Minister at his home office in the morning.

The Murugha Mutt pontiff of Chitradurga Dr Shivamurthy MurughaSharana called on the Chief Minister at his official residence Cauvery in Bengaluru on Tuesday morning.

    Building memorials in the named of actors by using public money should be to totally stopped..State passing through difficult times due to corona epidemic.Use govt funds for people's cause.

    Memory should be in people mind whoever loves him or adores him. Shankar Nag is remembered almost all auto drivers of state. Govt has not built any memorial for Shankar Nag. Don't waste public money on statues or memorial. If some people or his fans wants his memorial to be built, please collect donations from them and build it.

    Everywhere Bangalore roads are potholed. We can see hill stations, backwater, island, ponds on roads. First build the roads, repair the roads and name them Vishnuvardhan Road.
