Udupi: Indian Achievers Award conferred on Dr Kanthapalli Sameeracharya

Udupi, Aug 14: Senior professor Dr Kanthapalli Acharya, has been presented with the Indian Achievers Award for Spirituality and Vedic research by Vishwa Bharati Veda Peeth. The award was presented in the cooperation with the Government of India, department of science & technology during the National Brand and Marketing summit at New Delhi Indian Habitat Centre on March 12 by union minister Prahlad Singh Patel.

Dr Acharya has been involved in the study of the science of Vedas from Palimar seers Vidyamanya Theertha Shree and Vidyadeesha Theertha Shree.



Dr Acharya said that he is offering the award to Udupi Sri Krishna, the Indian motherland and the Udupi temple seers.
