This baby us an angel. She has got a new life now. Though the mother has abandoned the child, we should not be judging the mother. Who knows if she was raped, or a minor while giving birth? We will never know.

Ridiculous. First of all, why they need to wait till 10 (a decade!) years to get an idea of adopting a child ? After 2-3 years of marriage, if no success in conceiving even after consulting a doctor and undergoing the medication, then wait for only 1 or 2 more years. Still not happening, just plan for adopting a child. But, especially in twin districts, people are more worried about "What others will say and think". Very sad, and time passes in years or some times a decade too.

Really ridiculous incident. At a time when there are many childless parents waiting to adopt or bring forth their own off spring either by natural or medical means spending lacks of rupees. Here we come across careless people who were able to give birth to a child and then disown the child. Very sad and unfortunate incident. Hope the hospital will be able to handover the child to interested adaptive parents.May the child prosper in prospective hands of deserving parents.

Whatever the reason the parents abandoned this child may be. There is no point of blaming them when they do not want this child. What is the future for this child??

Like Bhandarkar said, people who do not have that God gift, know the pain.

Sorry, I am bringing RSS here just to make a point.
There was a nun who came from Albania and settled in India and decided to take are of these unwanted, abandoned children/adults which the society neglected/thrown out for various reasons. She took them to her Ashram and took care of them. She was blamed for converting them, instead of appreciation for her work when no one from RSS wanted to do, caring a leper.

Bhandarkar highlighted the flight of people, who he personally know.
If anyone adopting a child of different religion/caste, are you going to bring them up according to their birth religion/caste or according your religion/caste?? What's wrong in bringing up that unwanted child/adopted child in my own way/religion?

These days these helping organisations can't do their humanitarian works, because people always finds a way to blame them later.
When the phone is not working, I don't want this phone and throw this away. Someone picked up that phone from the garbage and fixed it, then suddenly, hang on!! it is my phone!!!!.

Who is going to take care of this unwanted phone now and fix it... someone will come later to claim and blame you for fixing and using it in your style!!!

Stupid parents.....why you carried the child in the warmth of your womb and abandon this infant in this rainy weather?? You all can't control your desire then why don't you go for precautions... Our animals million times better. They take care of their babies under any circumstances overcoming any fear...

    Dylan, Mangalore,

the tragedy of this country is that every one blame some other person for anykind of issue. if we, the common people of this country understand of responsibility most of the problem will be solved automatically. instead we are blaming govt, MP, MLA, our neighbours ….. what MP can do in this case? she can make an arrangement for the safety of that child that's all. but we are simply enjoying by blaming them. what is our responsibility in this case? ever we thought of that? No...
