Congratulations and best wishes Dr. Kaje

Baba Amte, was an Indian social worker and social activist known particularly for his work for the rehabilitation and empowerment of people suffering from leprosy in Anandwan Ashram. He is considered with very esteem, like St. Mother Theresa.

His son Dr. Prakash Amte, MBBS, MS (General Surgery) is looking after the Ashram along with his doctor wife. Dr. Amte was invited from some institution in America. He applied for American visa and his visa was rejected on the ground, he did not meet economic criteria. He had written his income in the Ashram truthfully and everyone knows what a social worker in Ashram gets.

Next day, Times of India reported that Dr. Prakash Amte's visa was rejected. There were many comments on the subject appeared in the paper. When American Ambassador came to know this, he sent a special person to Dr. Amte's home and stamped visa on his passport
