Kundapur, Jul 3: "SSLC examinations are successfully held in the district of Udupi. I congratulate the DDPI, teaching fraternity, students and parents. I want to mainly congratulate the parents, who kept faith on the district administration and sent their children to write the examinations," said G Jagadeesha DC of the district.

He visited the SSLC examination centres of Kundapur and Byndoor on Friday, July 3.

Speaking to the media, he said, "Three students of the district have tested positive for coronavirus. But this did not spread from the examination center. Facility is being made for all the teachers who were part of the SSLC examinations to get themselves tested for Covid-19 infection.

"If anyone is suffering from fever, cough and cold in the district, do not take tablets directly but go to the hospital and get tested for coronavirus. Life is precious. Save it. In Udupi more than 160 people infected with Covid-19 are getting treated. Only one is on ventilator. I am confident that all will get cured,” he said.
