Udupi, Jun 6: After Mangaluru, the renaming of the flyovers is now shifted to Udupi. The flyover here at Karavali junction has been renamed as ‘Pejawara Sri Vishweshatheertha flyover’. The incident came to light on late evening on Saturday June 6.
Some anonymous people have placed a placard stating ‘Pejawara Sri Vishweshatheertha flyover’.
This is the first incident reported in Udupi district of renaming of the flyovers.
It may be recalled, unknown people had hung banners giving new names to Pumpwell, Thokkottu, and Surathkal flyovers, and Nehru Maidan in Mangaluru earlier this week.
