‘Pass not required for inter-district travel’ - DGP Praveen Sood

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (AM)

Bengaluru, May 20: Karnataka Director-General of Police (DGP) Praveen Sood said on Wednesday May 20, that pass is not required for inter-district movement.

He has advised people to travel between districts only if very necessary and also asked everyone to keep in mind that lockdown rules are in place from 7 pm to 7am.

“Pass is not required for inter district movement now. However keep your travel to bare essential. And don’t forget lockdown between 7 pm and 7 am,” he tweeted.

Aftermath of guidelines of the Centre regarding fourth phase of lockdown, Karnataka government has announced more relaxation including bus services within the state during day time.
