They are leading lives of insecurity and helplessness away from home, it's not only about pregnant women and senior citizens, Many men have lost their jobs and are without proper food and May be their passports might not be with them, have some heart before criticizing the young men that send money to their homes by only keeping the minimal money for themselves. When our village people are in need of some loan you don't turn to your local bank, you will contact your friends working in gulf and ask them to help you in need without even checking whether he is in a position to send or not, when such people come on vacation you will stick to them like chewing gum in greed of imported stuff like perfumes, mobile and other things. These are the people that have funded renovations of village Temples, church and mosques. Now they are in trouble and only asking for a safe return and we are criticizing and mocking these hapless bachelors. Have some shame. Let's pray to God that there is some help to the single men living there that they get help from any quarters and their return is facilitated.

My thanks multiplies to Daijiworld for their efforts over issue based journalism.
    Keep it up.
Looking at the pictures it’s clearly shows the people’s adjustments to the current situation. It took time for us to learn the things like, keeping respectful distance with each other at the airport and at the immigration and customs, arguing with the officers.
While plane getting landed, people rushing to grab the cabin luggage, calling on phone, with loud noice, not bothering who is next to you.
And again at the baggage bay rushing and creating uncallled panic, and calling Mangalore airport is non-professional.
Hope atleast now people will realise what the salt we are made of.
Thank you Daijiworld for your concern with active journalism and not just passive journalism.
    Proud of you.

While wishing and pray for the safety and good health,I also thank for the concerned authorities for arranging such magnificent arrangements for the 178 passengers who arrived from Air India second special flight to Mangalore. Both central and state governments have been trying their tooth and nail and working day and night in order to stop the spread of coronas virus a deadly pandemic disease.Besides they are also very much concerned about the health of the citizens and doing wonderful jobs by putting their health at risk. However some lapses will always be there while managing and arranging in a massive scale, which is inevitable. But some people, miscreants trying their best to spoil the entire show and bring bad name to the country for their personal gain and with some vested interest.During this difficult situation everybody should join their hands with the government in fighting with corona virus keeping aside their political interest and make this fight a grand succes.United we stand, divided we fall.

Nancy, I can see the sarcasm in your contempt of the happenings around us. World will continue to spin untill few good souls are alive. Till that time, lets do our part as humans and support humanity in any which way possible. We do not need anyone else's validation to say if we are good or bad humans. Stay safe, stay blessed.

Why not complain ? The government is not giving anything for free . Everything is being charged double the amount. Flight tickets are twice more than the normal fare for your kind information. Will you keep quiet if you are not given the hospitality which you pay for ?

For your kind information, the flights are running one way without passengers. You are not doing any favor by paying double fare.

In current situation you are lucky that these Air India staff are taking risk in airlifting you. Else no one would have come near you, even if you offer one crore.

People who are returning are who lost their job or they were tourist. People who has their job still staying there. UAE is very expensive country.

It's mainly due to financial reasons and Visa issue. Hospitals have best facilities but expensive. Some don't have health insurance or maid to take care. In India they have at least family members.

Why do not you understand the situation of NRI's coming back, not for the treatment it's because of no job, can not bear expenses and most of the people don't have proper shelter also. Without financial support cannot stay here. Very critical situation here please understand, do not criticise like anything.

They have lost jobs and their livelihood. Without appropriate insurance coverage, they do not get the medical facilities UNLESS it is an emergency or life-threatening. Don't take it in any other way, UAE has blessed and taken care of us with the best of what we can afford but at the end of the day we are migrants. God bless this land and my mother land with the abundance of success, prosperity and let them be the best of the world.

    Mr.Nikil ; well and rightly said brother ! I appreciate it !

Mr.Naresh : I don't think u would have told this if you or your relatives were working outside India (may in gulf/Europe/outside India) . Why do you call people as adamant?? They are adamant because some of them have lost their Jobs , some came on visit visas, some have health issues , requires emergency hospitalization or treatment. UAE really has very good hospitals and medical facility. Spending on all of these is really expensive as compared to our home country. Don't just blabber , think in every perspective and speak. Pray for their safety and good health. God will bless you.
I hope you understand now clearly!!
