Coronavirus: West Bengal reports its first death, India death toll rises to 8

Kolkata, Mar 23: The state of West Bengal has reported its first death due to novel coronavirus. A 55-year-old man in Kolkata passed away due to the complications after being infected by the disease.

With the death of the Kolkata man, India's coronavirus casualty increased to eight as of Monday.

Reportedly, the man had recently returned from the coronavirus-hit Italy along with his family. However, it is said that his son is still there.
