Mumbai: Model Bank receives best bank award

Mumbai, Feb 12: The Maharashtra urban cooperative bank’s federation limited in its 24th annual award function held at Ravindra Natya Mandira auditorium, Dadar (W) on Monday presented best bank award to Model Cooperative Bank Ltd.

Model Bank president Albert D’ Souza received the award plate and a certificate from the deputy chief minister Ajith Pawar. The award is presented to the bank’s who have a turnover of more than 1000 crores in the cooperative sector in the year 2018-19.

Bank’s vice-president William Sequeira, directors CA Paul Nazareth, Thomas D’Lobo, Lawrence D’Souza, advocate Pius Vas, Jerald Cardoza, CEO and general manager William Louis D’ Souza and deputy general manager Zenon D’Cruz were present.



Albert D’Souza said that the honour has increased the responsibility of the bank. It is recognition to the uninterrupted service of the bank’s management and employees and honour to shareholders, customers, well-wishers, senior officials and different branch managers. The bank has 25 branches in Maharashtra.
