UAE issues statement condemning attack on Algerian army unit

Abu Dhabi, Feb 11: The attack on one of the units of the Algerian People's National Army which claimed the life of one soldier near the border with Mali has been strongly condemned by the UAE.

In a statement, the ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation asserted that UAE denounces criminal acts and all forms of violence aimed at undermining security and stability in contravention of religious and human values and principles.

One of the statements issued, the ministry expressed deep condolences and sympathy to the government and the people of Algeria, as well as the family of the victim.
