Mangaluru, Jan 13: District JD (S) president Mohammed Kunhi said, "The state government will not survive for long and will collapse soon after the Cabinet expansion.”

Addressing media here on Monday, January 13, Mohammed Kunhi further said, "The video CD released by former chief minister H D Kumarswamy has 100% true footage, but on the other hand, Mangaluru city police commissioner Dr P S Harsha has said that the sequence of the CD is changed and it is wrong to give such statements.

“If the released video is incomplete then we demand judicial enquiry so that truth will come out. BJP are trying to divert the minds of the people and even police commissioner Dr P S Harsha is defending saying that video is twisted.

"When H D Kumaraswamy released the videos, several opinions were expressed by the opposition. Some even claimed that Kumaraswamy has released the video for political mileage. JD(S) is not involved in any political game and is not playing vote bank politics behind releasing the video.

“It is necessary to maintain peace and harmony in the district and right now there is sense of fear among the public. There is enough money in the government treasury. But they are not announcing any new projects or schemes. MLCs and ministers are made to plead for money for any development work. The state government will not survive for long and will collapse soon after the Cabinet expansion.

"We are in an emergency situation because even to conduct a press conference, we have to seek permission from the police department. Even former Supreme Court judge was denied the permission to conduct a press meet and conduct Janatha Adalat. We strongly condemn this,” he said.

JD(S) district youth president Akshith Suvarna, JD(S) leaders Sushil Noronha, Abdul Azeez, Sumathi Hegde and others were present.

I appreciate your victory. Victory in the election will not have a far reaching effect if your actions doesn't meet the wishes and aspirations of the people. The world has passed by several leaders and you also just will be a part of it. Let there be a good history from your victory.
