Bengaluru: Two including cleric arrested in Gundlupet for suspected terror links

Bengaluru, Jan 12: Two persons have been arrested for suspected terror links in Gundlupet in Chamarajanagara district on Sunday, police said.

One among the two is a cleric.

"We have arrested two persons including a maulavi for suspected links with a terror group active in Kerala," a top police officer in the district said.


The police official however refused to divulge the names of the suspects.

Both the suspects are beiing questioned, he said.

The arrests were made by the state Anti Terror Squad (ATS), Karnataka Internal Security Division and the district police.
